Ever since I went on a trip to Spain in June 2000, photography has been a bit of a hobby of mine, as some of my camera-shy friends can attest to. :-) I got my first digital camera in May 2001 as a graduation present, a 1.3-megapixel Sony Mavica that stored images on floppy disks. But early in June 2004, I bought a new digital camera, a 4.0-megapixel Canon PowerShot A80, in preparation for my trip to Australia, and which was, needless to say, a major upgrade. I'd at least like to think that I have a good eye for photography and that I take good photos, but so far photography is still just a hobby. I haven't thought of making a career of it, but I suppose if meteorology or broadcasting doesn't pan out for whatever reason, I could always use it as a backup. :-)

Click on one of the "postcards" below to take you to a menu of my photo albums. Within each category the albums are arranged chronologically, with newer albums at the bottom of each section. I fairly regularly put new photo albums online, so be sure to check back here frequently. After clicking on an album link on this page, just click on any thumbnail to view a larger version of the photo. All albums will open in a new browser window. Enjoy!
