Pebbly Beach, tucked away in secluded Murramarang National Park, about a four-hour drive south of Sydney and just north of Bateman's Bay, is a hidden gem because of its special kangaroo population ... first of all, the kangaroos are relatively tame (they'll even let you pet them!), and second, it's very rare to see kangaroos that close to the ocean (on hot days you can even see them taking a dip in the ocean!)
