Following my semester studying abroad in Melbourne, Australia, I spent three weeks traveling around New Zealand — two on the South Island and one on the North Island. My parents were with me for the first week before they flew back home to Wisconsin. I was in Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Cloud, from 29 November to 20 December 2004.
